Smiley Face

Karson loves to write on the dry erase board in Dyran's classroom, so I got her a small one to use at home. Her favorite thing to draw is a "smiley face." It is actually more of an open-mouthed face but this is how she draws it every time.

Watermelon Anyone?

As you can see - Karson loves watermelon!

What a Mess!!

What started out as a good idea turned very messy. We went to AC Moore yesterday and I bought some wooden letter that I am going to paint for Karson's room. I bought her some things to paint as well, thinking I would keep her busy so I could get some painting done. Well - it didn't quite work out so well. Me being the neat person I am, gave her separate brushes for each color but that or course was a joke. I should have known better. As you can see from the pictures - the painting started on a wooden frog, then to her hands, then to her arms, then to her face and basically her whole body. It was so bad, I had to hose her down with the water hose. Lesson learned!!

Trip to Cades Cove

Yesterday we went to Cades Cove. This was Karson's first trip to the mountains and she loved it. She took her bug catching net and had a big time in the creek. We visited one of the cabins and when we walked in she said "this place is old." I must say that her favorite part was getting to ride around the loop and not have to sit in her car seat. Much of the time she was sitting in my lap with her head out the window hollering, "here deer, deer, deer." We did see 4 deer and of course she thought they were Bambi.

Baby Bryson

Baby Bryson is Karson's 2nd cousin and she is fascinated with him. She was a little shy at first about holding him but she warmed up quickly.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at Nanny's pool. Peiton, Colby, and Jake joined us and the kids wore themselves out swimming. Karson and Peiton are both water dogs. Karson got a little too brave and hopped right in the pool without her wings on. I saw her go in and I jumped in immediately with my shoes and all and had her up before she even knew what happened. It did not scare her a bit but scared me half to death. Other than that, the day was great and everyone had a good time!

Look at My Hats

Karson loves playing with her hats. She will put her hats on and pretend she is going to Wal-Mart. Silly Girl!!
