I'm Not Too Big!
Yes - Karson still likes to take baths in the kitchen sink. She uses the whole bottle of soap washing her baby. She washes every inch of that baby and talks to her the whole time saying, "baby, you gotta be still so I can wash you. Baby, I'm gonna put this soap in your eyes but it won't burn. Baby, hold your head back and I won't get water in your eyes." She talks constantly!!
Wee Worship
Karson goes to Wee Worship at our church on Sunday evenings. A few weeks ago, they sang two songs in front of the church. I honestly did not think she would stand up on the stage but she did. She even did a few of the hand motions and at least moved her mouth some. Karson has not been to Wee Worship the last 2 weeks because she had a bad cold one week and then she went to her cousin's birthday party the next week. Hopefully we will get back in a routine next week.

Momma and Karson's Road Trip
A couple of weeks ago, Karson and I went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge on my day off. First, we went to the Acquarium which Karson was not as thrilled about as I expected. She liked it, but would look in one tank and then say, "ok, lets go to the next one." She did not want to spend much time looking at any one thing, but I guess that is a 2 year old. On our way back through Pigeon Forge, she saw the rides and wanted to stop. For those of you who don't know, Karson would not get on any of the rides in Myrtle Beach except the train. Garrison rode them all but Karson just watched. She would not even ride them with me - she was so timid. My, what a difference 3 months makes. She hopped on every ride they had. I even got her on the "Wild Woody" co-carts. It is the large wooden track that goes in a cork-screw down a big hill. I had it going as fast as it would go and she loved it. She was so proud of herself and of course had to call Daddy and tell him what she had done. I unfortunately did not get a picture of us on the co-carts b/c it was just her and I, but hopefully we will go back soon.

What a Mess!!
What started out as a good idea turned very messy. We went to AC Moore yesterday and I bought some wooden letter that I am going to paint for Karson's room. I bought her some things to paint as well, thinking I would keep her busy so I could get some painting done. Well - it didn't quite work out so well. Me being the neat person I am, gave her separate brushes for each color but that or course was a joke. I should have known better. As you can see from the pictures - the painting started on a wooden frog, then to her hands, then to her arms, then to her face and basically her whole body. It was so bad, I had to hose her down with the water hose. Lesson learned!!

Trip to Cades Cove
Yesterday we went to Cades Cove. This was Karson's first trip to the mountains and she loved it. She took her bug catching net and had a big time in the creek. We visited one of the cabins and when we walked in she said "this place is old." I must say that her favorite part was getting to ride around the loop and not have to sit in her car seat. Much of the time she was sitting in my lap with her head out the window hollering, "here deer, deer, deer." We did see 4 deer and of course she thought they were Bambi.

Baby Bryson
4th of July
We spent the 4th of July at Nanny's pool. Peiton, Colby, and Jake joined us and the kids wore themselves out swimming. Karson and Peiton are both water dogs. Karson got a little too brave and hopped right in the pool without her wings on. I saw her go in and I jumped in immediately with my shoes and all and had her up before she even knew what happened. It did not scare her a bit but scared me half to death. Other than that, the day was great and everyone had a good time!
