Fun In Puerto Rico!!

We stayed at the Rio Mar Beach Resort and Hotel and it was beautiful. The hotel had a great family pool with a water slide (which Karson could not decide if she liked or not). As soon as we got up in the mornings Karson would say, "I am ready to go swimmin." She played so hard but she only took a nap one day. Like I said, she is not a sleeper.

This is our first night there in the hot tub.

Iguanas walked around there like squirrels. We went with a group of other kids and fed the iguanas lettuce. They would come up to us like ducks. Karson even got to pet one of them.

During the day they played loud music and had water aerobics for the kids. Karon participated as best she could.

When Karson gets tired, she wants juice and LaLa. You can see her obsession with LaLa's tail. It cracks me up how she rubs the tail on her feet.

MeMe got Karson this camera and she loved it. This cat roamed around at one of the outside restuarants and Karson kept chasing it around to take its picture.

More juice and LaLa!!

Taking pictures of the Iguana.

I love this litte hat!!!

View from our Balcony.

This was our first experience with trying to get Karson to walk in the sand.
She would have nothing to do with it. She does not like for her feet to be dirty
so I guess she associated the sand with dirt.

But...she finally did it. YEA!!! We got to an area where the sand
was really packed down and I told her it was concrete. She
started walking on the hard sand and then slowly got to where
she would walk on all the sand.
When she first saw the ocean she said, "it that
water gonna get us." She did not like the waves
coming at her.

"Mmmm...I am not so sure about this ocean."
Karson loves to play with the phone and act
like she is calling people. She will just talk and
talk and carry on full conversations. She has
a huge imagination.

All Dressed Up

Here are a few pictures of us on Easter morning. Karson looked so pretty in her dress!!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday we took Karson to the Jaycee's Easter Egg Hunt at Springbrook Park. Her and Garrison had a good time. They even got to see the Easter Bunny.

La La

As many of you know, Karson has two pink dogs that she calls "La La." These are like her security blanket. When she is drinking out of her sippy cup, she must have La La and she feels of her tail. There is a worn La La and a newer La La and she must have both of them but she only plays with the tail of the worn one (and she knows the difference). It is so cute to see her little fingers playing with that tail. Sometimes she will take her socks off and rub La La's tail on her feet. It is so funny. In the middle of the night, there is always a La La either in her arms or underneath her. Needless to say - La La goes where ever we go.

Playing with Garrison

Saturday we went to the park with Garrison and Keith. When we walked back to MeMe and Popee's house, Karson and Garrison wanted to get on their daddy's shoulders. How cute are they? Karson and Garrison are only 3 months apart and they get along great.

My New Playset

This is Karson's new playset from Nanny and Granndad. She loves it!

More Outside Fun

We have been spending a lot of time outside with the warmer weather. Yesterday Karson and I went to West Town and bought her some new bows at Baby Bundles. I got a bigger size than she usually wears and at first I thought they were too big but I think they look pretty good in these pictures. I must admit that I am kinda bow obsessed. I actually took a bag full of her Summer clothes to match up the exact colors. Please tell me that someone else has done this!! After shopping we came back home for a full afternoon of outside playtime. If you visit the blog regulary you know that Karson got a new red tricycle a few weeks back. Well - she has decided she likes her old tricycle better - the one we got a garage sale for $5. Go Figure!!

Enjoying The Warm Weather

We have been taking advantage of the warmer weather. We can hardly keep Karson indoors, not even to eat. She wants to be outside constantly. I took a few pictures, ok a lot of pictures, and I was really pleased with how they turned out. I am always amazed at how blue her eyes are.

Do We Have a Golfer?

Dyran is very pleased that for right now, Karson loves golf. When she is outside, she always wants to get her golf club. She actually hits it really well. Dyran taught her how to set up and follow through. See for yourself - her technique is pretty good! We just hope she continues to enjoy it. This Spring and Summer we are hoping to make a few trips to the golf course. She will probably enjoy riding the cart more than anything.
